Developing a sensor would be difficult as there are so many things that could contribute to SADS. However, some of the main symptoms are an enlarged heart (hypertrophy) or blocked blood vessels (coronary artery disease). Medical imaging is always improving, so in the near future it might get easier to test/screen everyone more often and keep an eye on things.
