Question: eoin do you think it would be possible to make an artificial heart so people wouldnt have to wait to get a donor and maybe die while waiting for a heart?

It might be possible, not probably not for another few years. The heart is such a complex organ (in its materials and function), that a lot more research is needed before artificial (tissue engineered) hearts could be developed. There are mechanical hearts that have been tested in terminally ill patients, but these always have serious issues and lead to complications.
