• Question: some babys are only born with one lung would they get an artificial lung

      Usually one lung is enough to support someone. I had a grandfather that lost one of his lungs and he lived a perfectly normal life. Because artificial lungs and lung transplants still have more side effects than benefits, normally you wouldn’t get one unless both lungs are not functioning.
