• Question: if the white blood cells lose the fight with the bacteria, does the bacteria take over?

      The bacteria wouldn’t take over the white blood cell. The white blood cell may die, but luckily you have lots of other white blood cells which can help out and kill the bacteria. If your body needs a helping hand fighting the bacteria, your doctor can give you some antibiotics which will help your white blood cells to kill the remaining bacteria
