• Question: What inspired you to become engineers?

      I’ve always loved figuring out how things worked. As a small child I used to get extremely excited when my toys said some assembly required! I still get quite excited at building Ikea furniture. My dad is a mechanical engineer, my sister is a doctor and my mom is a nurse. Naturally I took a bit from everyone and became a Bioengineer.

      I knew that whatever area I ended up working in, I wanted to help sick people and to solve problems. Biomedical engineering let me does this.
